Description
A painting my aunt asked me to do. She said I can paint whatever the hell I want, so I did this, but my mom is convinced that my aunt will hate it, so.If my aunt doesn't want it, I will attempt to sell it.
So keep tabs on this if you're interested, please.

just wondering, did you hand paint the green print or did you custom make a frame with green fabric... it looks like a pain to handpaint perfectly >_<

The green pattern is a piece of paper I bought in a craft store, then glued onto the board with gesso. I then painted over it.

something like that...i have some particulars if you were to do it, but mainly i want something really unique with a punkrockish feel...thats the best way i can quickly describe it and thru what i saw of your art i thought that you could probably do an amazing job at getting that style and feel into a portrait

Ack!! XD This was posted so long ago and I never commented. But it's beautiful!! Even though there's contrast between the woman and the background, the fact that they both have the same pattern and have somewhat muted colors leaves nothing to be desired. Your smooth artstyle always fascinates me~ *o* From her long flawless hair to her smooth skin to her flowing kimono (if I'm gussing right!), everything blends in a pleasing manner.
If it's still for sale, I'm game to buy it.

this is quite wonderful... as already stated, the wallpaper effect is quite nice... it adds quite a bit to the picture... the warm tones of her skin and kimono compliment the green well... and to top it all off, the face looks great... A class work
