Talents:
Storytelling - Although not a folklorist, he is very interested in tales in general. Most people don't know about this though, since he's too uptight to admit it in the first place, let alone telling you one.
Speed-reading - Self explanatory. He can read through texts rather quickly, though he can't remember when or how he picked it up.
Apparently good with his fingers - Suggestive connotations aside, his fingers are nimble and he can be quite precise with using tools, making crafts or playing instruments. The knowledge of how to perform those tasks on the other hand, is a totally different matter.

Personality:
Yunxi is quite serious and uptight, and he seems to possess a perpetually angry frown. He frowns when he's angry, he frowns when he's confused. He frowns when he's looking at someone. It does not always mean he's pissed---because when he is, he usually has the annoyed expression instead. He is caring, a bit too blunt, secretly a romanticist, easy to become embarrassed and annoyed, and forever in denial of various things including all of the above. He dislikes being touched and is suspicious of suspicious individuals. Overall, Yunxi is a learned, straightforward but somewhat immature character of quite a few internal conflicts.

History:
Yunxi is the single child of a military officer, raised in a family where the father was not the most gentle husband to the mother and their son. Due to this influence, Yunxi started off young as a delinquent and a fighter. There came upon one night when conflicts inside the house rose to a certain peak, and Yunxi did what he'd always wanted to do---to beat up his father. Soon, however, he'd realize in his mother's tears that this was not what she wanted. Having learned his lesson with respect to his mother's wishes, he started to turn his attention to the bettering of his studies. Eventually, he became a scholar. Interestingly, his father slowly became a better man after that particular incident. Although not yet on friendly terms with his son, they now share a non-violent family bond.

Nowadays, Yunxi is a young historian who busies himself producing documents for the city. Writing and re-writing papers all the time, he practically lives in the Emerald City archives. One of the reading rooms on the second floor has become his nest featuring personal belongings of very simple needs and lots of story books (shh, that one's a secret).

He has a Moon Rabbit friend, Bartido , whom he has known since they were in school and still talks to on a daily basis these days. They're very awkward together. Their bromance has been dubbed the "10 years of awkwardness".

Yunxi (along with Bartido) also knew Cuiyu from when they were younger, and they'd looked up to the older man for his wonderfully written works. Of course, neither of them knows about Cuiyu's more...discreet...publications.

Trivia:

- Yunxi's name means "cloud" and "cricket".

- He smells faintly of sandalwood due to his amulet.

- Was a delinquent, and still has some gangster traits (shows most when he's angry).

- He was meant to be raised into a warrior, so he does know various forms of Wushu beaten into him during youth. He practices them just for sport nowadays.

- In the library where there're no weapons around, he uses empty scrolls, the laundry stick and his angry iron fists to resolve(?) conflicts.

- Prone to getting heat strokes, especially when it comes with steam or water.

- Is sometimes called Yun-kun by people he knew from school (mostly in a teasing manner).
