I love nuzlockes cause it forces you to use Pokemon you would have easily passed up earlier and discover how useful they could be. I thought Mienfoo was weird as fuck, but eventually, it became the MVP of my party and I adore Mienshao now

I was NOT a fan of Roggenrola when I got him and now he's my main, now only a tank but just my leading poke'mon in general. I love my rock baby.
That and Sewaddle which I picked up as soon as my herdier died. And boy is he a BOSS.
Actually named him revenqe for my lost poke'mon, and he got revenge. He sweeped team plasma and even faired well in the next gym without a type advantage.

I started a blue nuzloc yesterday.... I lost Ananas ;( ( my bulbasaur)) Rocket grunts raticate killed him with 1 hyperfang that resulted into a critical hit... )

Yes. I did go through X Nuzlocke with a Beedrill. IT NEVER FAINTED. NOT ONCE.
Same with Ferdun and Eers. Just the most sucky of Pokemon seem to be your best friend in Nuzlockes.

I'm with a Beedril in my first Nuzlocke now. His name is Phul (the name is a parody of "Phil", a former classmate who was really easy to enrage) and he's the second oldest teammember now after the death of Luis, my beloved Chespin.
There seems to be an extra rule for nuzlockes:
The pokemon you really love and care of since you got them will die and the rest will live untill their lifes start to matter for you. Then they're screwed too

Chespin was my starter in my first X Nuzlocke. Then a Kadabra decided to be dumb and crit confusion Walmer, and he died. The most enraging thing is that he was 4 EXP. from evolving. While I had a lot of deaths, I always had 2 constant liviing party members. Fern the Pidgeot, and Hope the Beedrill.

Phul is history
Miltank and Bide. Nothing more to say. Just after i bought him Poison Jab and he got a proper Poison Stab. I literally already saw him in the upcomings grass and fairy arenas, but NO! NO! OF COURSE NOT.
Pidgeot is btw dead too Double fight and Machoke crit. I think my oldest team member is now Matthis the Charmander Γ€h... Charmeleon. I hate Nuzlockes. D:

I'm awful at Nuzlockes. Mainly because I grow attached to Pokemon, and if they die I just quit the Nuzlocke. But I love watching other people's Nuzlockes. They are so much more resolute than I am.

I decided to do a nuzlocke on my Emerald, my team was (no pokemon in the box so just 6)
Blade the Sceptile,
Feathers the Swellow,
MailMan the Pelipper (Shiny)
Dusk the Absol,
Steelio the Aggron, and
Aero the Rayquaza.
However, came the final stretch of the elite four, Metagross showed better over Blade... Every Sceptile I get, I name it Blade

I was training an eevee for an Umbreon or Slyveon, and it died REALLY early on.

Tell me about it. (To be fair, I was using Chesnaut, a Grass fighting type, against Valerie's Sylveon, a fairy with STAB. Crit Dazzling Gleam and it was the end of the Pokemon that really carried my whole team.) In that same Nuzlocke I brought a WOBBUFETT to the E4, and OH BOY did it rek.
I also lost half my team to the E4. (R.I.P Lapis the Lapras, Pahncho the Raichu, and Bubbles the Altaria) I was really sad.
Wait, what killed your eevee? It's kind of hard to kill a LVL. 20 eevee especially with EXP. Share (Which is why Walmer was a Chesnaut by the end of glittering cave.) it is still sad to hear it died. IT WAS SO YOUNG!

I believe it was a trainer battle- got a critical hit of some sort.
I even forgot to heal before the battle, which is a huge rookie mistake.

Not as bad as losing your stater because your are Stubborn enough not to heal it when it is in the low red.
