lil pixel tip;
color the lines & use effects!! i s2g luminosity and opacity is your bff with any pixel
i use a nice pink or purple, and put it on top of the main layer (combine colors + lines first), and click clipping group or smth like that. Do nOT touch that multiply option. Instead, set the pink/purple/etc layer to luminosity and play with the opacity!!
i also recommend soft textures but that goes with all art :>

That's a really good idea!! I've started doing that with my normal art so it would only make sense for me to move that technique over to pixels as well. I didn't go too crazy (which is why there's no shading/highlights) on this pixel because it's one of my first ever pixels so I didn't want to do more than I could handle ;w;

no problem!! thats understandable ofc, im a fetus w/ pixels myself op but its just smth i find makes it look 100x better (especially with dark designs)

I dont rlly have any tips bc im not the best at pixels myself but
I'd suggest looking at some pixel tutorials?? Especially ones by people whose pixels you admire
That + just look at other peoples pixel art to see what little things they do that make it look nice?? Like adding neon colors on the outline or white or smth

For someone who doesn't have much experience with it, this is really good. From what i've seen in pixel art I see no difference, besides shading of course and complex poses. I'd just practice it in many different poses to get the hang of it. Just look at other pixel arts maybe to see how they kind of work around the kinks (wink) and kind of maybe shade since obviously a pixel brush is different than your normal brush and the way you shade could have a different outcome. But again, this is very good and hope to see more pixel art from you in the future <3
