Description
Here is an image of how I created the skull for my Giganotosaurus sculpture. I created 2 patterns, one in dorsal "top" view, and one in right lateral "side" view. I then adhered them to a block of high density balsa foam. I first cut out the side view on a bandsaw, then I taped the cut offs back onto the block. Then I cut the top view, from there I began sculpting into it with rifflers "small scraping or filling tool" and standard sculpting tools.
