So... today... I...I FINALLY GRADUATED FROM COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL!!!
But... it is still... somehow sad too...
I don't see some of my friends anymore...
And I don't see some nice teachers who I have...
I almost started to cry when Mia (the girl with black hair in the drawing) hugged me with tears in her eyes...
I hope that we still will be friends even we don't see each other so often... :'<
But Reeta (the girl with brown hair) is coming same upper secondary school where I'm going ^^
HAPPY SUMMER FOR EVERYONE!!!

your school ended already? wow!
ours doesn't get out until the 25th, but my graduation from elementary school is on the 24th^^ it's a formal event, so i get to dress up and i'm excited ^^
i don't quite understand your school system... it sounds more cofusing than mine. in canada (well, my province) we go to elementary school from junior kindergarten to grade 8, then from grade 9 to 12 we're at highschool, then we're off to university.

Here we first go to preschool in age 6 and to elementary school in age 7.
Basic education ends in age 16,
then you can choose are you going to upper secondary school or vocational education
(it's almost impossible go to work only with basic education)
It takes 3 years to graduate from both of them.
After that you have 3 options: get a job, university or polytechnics.

ah.. i see. yeah, that's much different than ours. we start school when we're four, stay in that school until we're 14, then from 14 to 18 we're in high school. then university courses vary in length. your school system sounds kind of stressfull...

By the way, how is the school system in Finland organized? ^^
Whoa, that's a brand new style you use here. ^^ I think it makes the drawing more dynamic and vivid, which here is a very good thing. ^^ It's hard to describe, but the main change is the way you've drawn faces. They're... less mangna-like?
P.S. It's good for you that you had some people to actually miss in your school.

Well, it just seems to me this way, but I'm often misinterpreting things, so don't worry. ^^ I just always want to write something that shows that I really looked at the picture, not just for a few seconds. ^^
Hmm... it really depend on who you call a friend. As I have already written somewhere on dA (I don't remember where), I have noticed that people speaking English call others 'friend' very easily. In Polish, the person that you can have fun with, but not close to you, is called 'colleague' (of course using polish word). You call someone 'friend', only when he or she is close to you.
So, after seeing the people who are my friends now, I can say, that those people really weren't close to me. Well, I was feeling very lonely back then.

We call those (who you call colleague) "mates" and those who are close to us "friends" ^^
Here boys have a big group of "mates" and girls have some very close "friends" ^^
My friend told me that boys (here) don't have "friends", just mates :<

That's strange for me too. I guess it has something to do with the stereotypes, which are the most stupid thing ever. == And the pressure to fit in them. I mean, you just get laughed at, when you don't act '
But I guess that, unfortunately, people are too afraid of other and don't open up to them. >.< The thing is that if we don't trust others, they won't trust us.
