Eeee thank you so much!! He's a super fun character to draw!
I'll admit that I stumbled upon the color palette by accident - I uh. I don't know how to make interesting colors. xD

Oh I do stuff like that all the time colours are hard man! I don't know what kind of magic is possessed by the people that can just choose colours and have them work right off the bat but I would sell my soul for such a gift

Saaame! I'm much more focused on getting better at posing and form and weight and all that fun stuff, especially since those are kind of essential if I wanna work in animation / storyboarding but I can totally make either of those things work without touching a colour in my life if I REALLY wanted to lmao
But I have recently discovered the joys of the selective colour tool its my new fave 👌

Yeah totally! Like I'd much rather have a good foundation otherwise it's not gonna turn out well whether the colours are nice or not. It does feel validating to have a textbook give us a free pass though I can really get behind that lol
Photoshop has saved my art soul in so many ways I don't know WHERE I'd be without all my layers and transform tools and colour altering. Whenever I do any traditional art now its just super disheartening when I screw something up to know I have to just erase it and start over instead of maybe being able to salvage it. And you're totally right art is no fun without people to interact with it, at least half my motivation to finish anything nowadays is 'my followers probably want to see this I gotta get it DONE'

Haha, laziness is a major enemy to the artist. x3 But if you can overcome it, good things happen!
Thank you very much!!

I feel pretty much the same haha. Yeah it's normal as an artist, we can always get "better" because art is something we create with our imagination.... This quote says it all "Art is never finished, only abandoned." I've known this quote but I didn't know it was said by Leonardo da Vinci, I just googled it to know who said it XD and he was for sure a master in creation...

Yeah!!! I've been reading some textbooks by people I consider to be masters of art and animation, and one big thing that keeps coming up is that artists never feel like they've finally "made it". They're constantly, until the day they die, stretching and reaching and learning, and they're never content.
This makes me both happy (because it's how I've always felt!) and terrified, because to know I'll be like this until I'm 80+...oof, that's a huge burden. but...worth it, I hope?!

Yes it's very true and for all kinds of artists.
I know what you mean but I think we should be more happy than sad about it because if we ever came satisfied with what we are able to make, would we keep making it ? One of the main goals of an artist is to get better when they keep creating. So I think it's a good thing that we never are 100% satisfied ^^
