Description For 's Lights, Cameras, Action! contest

Lame title ahahah eve;
I actually drew something else, until I started colouring it and realised it looked really boring, so I redid everything |D;
It was fun though, and I'm somewhat satisfied with it now. ouo
Though...I only did this in the last week before the deadline >_<;

I think I did the perspective kinda weird, and my backgrounds are still fail, but oh well, I had fun owo

And yes. That is the Rapunzel tower. o-o Behind is supposed to be that waterfall. =u=;;

...Okay forgot what I wanted to say. Will add on tomorrow or something.

Edit: Yay for deadline extensions Had more time to shade the background, I hope it looks better ;v;

Whatever, I laughed!
Your foreshadowing has improved, and those are pretty good feet for something so complex to draw! Though those lines make it look a bit like she'd stepped in feet coloured clay first.
Loving the expressions and the movement here!

XDD It could be! I was actually thinking of that scene in the beginning where Garnet's wearing her White Mage robe and she jumps off the tower, hence the flag-rope XD

Oh I redrew her bottom half so many times. It was hard to draw that without a reference, and with about a week left before the contest ends D8 I took one of my How-To-Draw-Manga books to reference some low perspective stuff though. "Those lines" as in my attempt at shading feet? XD

Yay!! After watching Tangled, I realized why I liked it so much. Aside from it just being awesome, I realized how similar in concept it was to FFIX, lol. Garnet, the locked up princess, who wants to escape; Zidane the handsome and cheeky thief who accidentally rescues her. It's fun to see someone do crossover fanart reflecting the similarities!

Me too! The "princess" also cuts her hair in some part of the story~ And has an over-protective "knight" that has sworn to protect her and is at odds with the thief I think of Pascal as somewhat like Eiko too, since Garnet and Eiko can talk to each other and both Pascal and Eiko are so....hyper? I wanted to do this crossover fanart after I watched Tangled, and finally have an excuse motivation to do one!

Also, the setting of Tangled is so beautiful! I have the Art of Tangled and the village reminds me of a mix of Alexandria and Lindblum! The Forest could be...Forest of Evil? xD

I love the setting too! Another huge reason why I liked Tangled (and a reason I liked FFIX, setting). I'm such a sucker for that type of old fantasy world.
