Oh wow 😮!
It has both soft oil and pastel. That’s cool!
I like your art style. 💜

This is gorgeous! I love Prussian Blue! Absolutely my favourite colour! I love working with this pigment; especially with watercolours.

Thanks so much!
And oh god, yes. Anything I can use it in, I will use it. And in watercolour it is definitely my go-to blue, too.

You are most welcome! That is awesome and same here. I have used it in almost every watercolor piece I've created! It is very versatile.

Beautiful!! I love the hair... the way it flows and the wispiness of the strands!
I learned two things here: 1) That you can mix soft pastel and oil paint (o.O???!!) That's a combination I wouldn't have imagined! XD and 2) That canvas paper exists. Is this paper textured like a canvas or actual canvas made stiff like a paper?

Thank you so much!
Yup! They can be mixed for one very specific reason: Soft Pastels are simply pigment sticks. Nothing more. If you throw tuprnetine or white spirit at them, they dissolve. Just like pigment you would make oil paint from. You can draw with them on gessoed panels or canvas, then add turpentine with a brush, or mix oils with a thinner and brush over it... it all melts together. ^^
Canvas paper is paper that is specially treated, and it has the texture of canvas. The one I use is Tela by Fabriano. It comes in different sizes, in pads of 10 sheets. It's different than Arches Oil Painting paper. That paper has the texture of handmade paper and soaks up the oil in a heartbeat, making it truely terrible to work on.

Sort of, yeah. Like very thinned out oil paint without any oil in it... XD Think watercolour washes. That's what it tends to look like.
And you're welcome!

I didn't really know a lot about such a combination before, but the result is excellent nevertheless. I have seen such usage pop up here and there. Yes! Canvas paper does exist. It is (usually) a heavily textured paper, not actual canvas. I hope this helps!

I've seen some really strange textures for canvas paper, but the weaved texture is most common. I was introduced to this paper once when I was working with oils. I'm not sure if I would recommend it for that particular medium. Of course!
