God, I suck at pencil drawing. And my scanner sucks, too. So. Bah humbug.Anyway. Needed to remind myself how a pencil worked. Voila.
Done in graphite on 7"x10" sketch paper.

you have nice contrast and form in your work. I mainly do things in pencil, and I like it. perhaps if you played more with form instead of line, you would be more pleased, but I like it.

I liek it- I'm terrible at horses. And at pencil. The forehoof and the hindhoof WOULD be in the same horizon if the horse were diagonaling, which he/she seems to be, by the bend in the body. Only thing I can say is the shading is a little uniform- no particularly dark spots, a little too medium. It doesn't draw your attention to any specific point.
Still, I am not one to talk since this is much better than the work I've up currently!

the only thing i noticed, and i could very well be wrong (vwery tired) is that his left hind and right fore are on the same horizon.. meaning they'd be beside eacother?? or am i just looking at it wrong?
other than that (and maybe even including that.. seeing as how i'm probably wrong) it's beauytiful!
