Ish mah bebbe, Dude! Erm, *cough*, yes. My quarter horse gelding. I've never drawn him before, even though I've owned him over two-ish years now, so I finally decided it was time to do something about that. =3And yes, his proportions are weird; he's just like that. He has a big dopey head, he's long as a limo, and he's a short ass. And he has a pathetically short forelock because it was burned back when he was little, and he has a clump of mane missing where I cling for my life as he hurtles us over jumps that he's way too short to do. XD
But he's my doll and I love him anyhow. X3
Done in termpera paint on 8x11 toned pastel paper. Clocked at 4 hours.

Wow, I love the lighting of the light spots and the definition of the limbs! Your shadows really give me a feel for the depth of the picture and it honestly feels like he'll leap off the page/screen! I think his proportions are okay. It actually makes me think of a slim Morgan horse.

Well, I think he's cute even if his proportions are wierd, but mebbe thats just me, because I like my horses kind of funny looking. It makes them that much more endearing ^^
I like your style and the way you've colored/shaded him especially. While its still realistic, it has a painterly feel to it. Honestly, I cannot think of any improvements. He's adorable!
