Finally, my very first VS to complete my XXX suite.Explorer ToolBar skin included (for use with StyleXP)
I know, it has this 2 years old look, but we all start from somewhere
Thanks to for the guidelines.
And thanks to all the people for the support and feedback which helped me to finish up the suite.
Please install the inculded fonts.

This style is just great; I love it. I just want to ask, is there a way to increase the size of the start menu so it won't cut off the programmes; so it would show both the texts and icons?

Well I don't have the solution personally, it IS a weird thing that the start button works on certain PCs and does not on others...
However, some kind fellas seemed to have found the solution, eventhough I didn't have time to test it, I'm sure it works.
So please read my XXX VS page, few solutions are on there.

Actually, there's no icon "set", just one folder icon, really can't remember who's the author (credit goes to him/her), + Icons for My Computer and My Networks (made by myself), you can get them here : [link]

any one no how to fix the start button for a screen rez of 1280 x 1024

I see you tried to fix the bug but using the 105 only let's the green rectangle show up. I highly recommend you change it to 110? and you know this may be dependent upon resolution. I have a 1290x 800 resolution. But It works as 110 for mine. Thanks

Nice style, i signed up just to explain how to fix the start button. Basically i had the problem of it not showing up correctly (first two colours were fine but the red never showed up), anyhow to fix it (probably easier if nylon did it) but just download a copy of stylebuilder
open it up and select the taskbar icon on the left hand side of the screen
next click the start button itself in the preview box
edit 'sizing type' to stretch
edit 'content margins' to have the values -105, 105,0,0
this should hopefully fix everything, it did for me
One question i do have however is how do you change the taskpane (the drop down lists on the left hand side of your windows with the various functions e.g. system tasks, folder tasks etc...) fonts. My one and only gripe is the font on my screen is tiny i managed to change all fonts except the taskpane fonts

A great combined between black and the fonts.
I haven't install StyleXP, Windowsblinds, theme manager or anything else.
Just using msstyle and:
*Combine* A great Dx object instead of a widget.

Hi Rogerfer, thanks for the support.
The start button seems to be a issue to certain people and not to others, it's hard to determinate what could be the cause. However, know that the visualstyle was meant to be applied with StyleXP, that'll for sure solve the thing.
And about changing the icons, there's nothing to do with the visualstyle itself, the style CANNOT do a thing about changing the icons, so you have to change them yourself.
Anyway, there're some cool shots you got there, present the visualstyle pretty swell
