A wooden book up for sale on Etsy .

This book has been bound by hand with waxed linen thread and has a cover of leather and wood that I have dyed myself.
In the back there is a braid decoration that continues into a book mark inside the book.

The pages are plain off-white, although the first and last few pages in the book are "nature paper" and a patterned sturdy paper.
About 120 pages.

I Like the stitching on the back.
But as a cabinet maker I just have to ask whether you thought about using some veneer on that board. Like that, the used veneer is like "d-quality", because it´s just used for constructiv Intentions where you can´t see it, or got a veneer applied, to fit the taste of the maker and customer. (Also to the dye-section: I don´t know whether you know about it, but just have a look for positiv and negativ dyes XD)
Lovely pattern bye the way! ^^

Ooh I am not that familiar with all the woodworking.. stuff... xD And I have no idea what positive and negative dyes are?

No Problem at all... ^^
Actually its a negative stain effect in simple pictures you can see it here . It´s a thing nearly everybody does with coniferous wood  (that´s where that problem shows up), so you might just have a look at it and decide, whether it´s interesting for you or not. With the right stain (not dye, sry for that ^^) you wouldn´t invert the texture of the wood, but in the end mostly people who work with that stuff will really recognize it (but they will immediately ^^), most others... rather not or quit late (and if, they might not be able to tell, what´s wrong). So that´s just a hint from my side
