I'm kinda upset with how this turned out. :/ I dunno, you guys tell me what you think.. I was hoping she would resemble a Kigoi type of koi fish which are all yellow ([link] ), but I found it pretty hard to work with.Anyways, I'm hoping she will be somewhat of a secretary to Kohaku. Her design is still up for change I just got sick of working with it. If you have any suggestions lemme know!

is it ok if she can be 30? i'm trying to set a minimum age for advisors of 30 cuz people keep trying to submit like 20 year olds to be advisors and i gotta set the bar somewhere >_>

Hmm I see what you mean. I didn't exactly get a 'koi' sort of feeling from her without reading your description.
I would try maybe giving her longer fur? Like a smooth, silky look but sort of feathered, like the fins of a koi fish.
And maybe try giving her coat more of a dappled look with a deeper yellow or light brown to give the appearance of scales. Not too much - just softly enough to hint at the scales...
Having very little artistic talent myself I don't know if that helps... but that's what I see in my head.
