about the same. I broke up with my girlfriend of 8 years so I've mostly been keeping busy while trying to work through all the emotional shit I'm going through. Other than that I'm okay

Sorry, Iβve been so slow to reply to previous messages. My work schedule keeps flipping around, so Iβm up at weird hours and napping during the day. Itβs been busy.

It is since I am bogged down in art that needs to get done. But at the same time I go from wanting to do art to not wanting to do anything because I'm still working through all this crap emotionally.

Ahh I hear you. Personally, Iβve been throwing myself into my crappy job, to distract me from the emotional storms inside my head. But the biggest problem is that work is screwing the few of us that actually work hard and pick up the slack for the people not showing up. So itβs just everything adding up, you know? Then because work exhausts me physically and emotionally over the days that Iβm there, Iβm not in the mood to do much on my days off...and I really need to clean and move furniture around in my room...Iβll get there eventually.

It's the same where I am. I'm practically on my own in my department on 2nd shift since the two newest managers there are lazy assholes who never want to help me or I get stuck with one of the new kids that wants to screw off all night instead of getting the job done.Β
So by the time I come home I'm exhausted and I don't want to do shit. I spend most of my days off sleeping and catching up with friends between trying to do my art. So I'm still doing the same things I'm just doing it at a much slower pace
I think you'll eventually find a way to do what needs to be done. It just won't be as fast as you'd like it to be.Β

Oh, I hear you. My βsupervisor,β if you can call her that is never in, and when she is, itβs only for a half day. Itβs really amazing that sheβs even allowed to do that, because the company paid to get her trained and put her through the necessary courses, so she owes them time and therefore money. Yet somehow she can just not show up to work, save maybe three days a month. And my manager is constantly on vacations. But heaven forbid I call in sick, then itβs a fight to get my sick pay, and forget about trying to book vacations, because most of us get told flat out that βno, itβs not going to happen,β unless you happen to be in the privileged few.
This week, Iβm picking up a night shift again, because our guy on graveyards never gets time off, and I feel bad for him, so I offer to cover for him every now and then when I can. But that basically means I barely get anything done because Iβm flipping my sleep schedule so I can stay up all night, and then Thursday I have βoffβ (I get off at 7am that day) to sleep and flip my schedule back to mornings for Friday.
Next week Iβm taking my full three days off. I really need to get stuff done around the house. This week I can only chip away at things slowly.

With someone like her we usually send an anonymous message to their direct supervisor and let them know what this person is up to. Chances are they might not be aware of what she's doing to the people under her and most times it'll get them to straighten her ass out.Β
I tried doing swing shift stuff like that and it is exhausting. I gave myself a set schedule at work so I never have to do that crap again.Β

Funny enough, they canned her ass, and now she is apparently trying to sue for wrongful dismissal.Β Β
Ugh, yeah, I'm really feeling it now. Working all of these different hours for people while they are away is getting annoying. After this next week, I hope to be back to my regular schedule though.

Oh yeah, I get that. My favorite part of the day to visit the beach is at the evening and night.
I also love stormy skies, but usually prefer them on the horizon... when storms are so near me, they can make me feel a bit edgy haha.
