I shoot in Raw and Jpg but i only edit the Raw files when needed. i just keep the jpg for viewing. they load faster and i can flip through all my shots in a larger size faster that way.

Me too, but I did not know it would shot RAW and JPEG at the same time. And I need to learn how to do that HDR thing.

You have a Button on the bottom left of your camera on the front just under the lens that you can hold down and activate bracketing as well see what your fstop is going to look like before you shoot the shot. once you set your bracketing for the exposures you want just point and shoot and it will change the settings for you for each shot. works in most modes. so just pull the trigger and go. The Raw and Jpg setting are in your menu under image quality. with a 16 gig stick i still get just over 700 shots per card so that's 700 jpg and 700 raw. hard to fill up a card in one day unless your shooting for HDR then every shot will be in triplicate lol

Thank you So Much.. Half of it was in the water and half stuck on the sand.. i really thought it was a cool shot. i took like 10 of them to get the one where the leaf was just close enough to the water surface to be clear enough. but with the waves rolling in it kept getting washed Up.. Hence the name

That's awesome. I really like photos where you gotta think to make sence of how it was made^^

I'm not sure I'd even bring my camera that close to the water though

All three are cool but this is the best! Wonderful layout, perfect saturation of the leaf with touches of color in the rocks, the working of the color levels make the sand almost have texture you can feel... and the "tide" line makes it! Bravo

Thanks So Much Ruth.. it is my favorite of the 3. i was going to save ti for last. but just couldn't wait!

I have one more Rivers Edge Shot to share.. and that will complete the collection i think.

I know what you mean about not being able to wait! I usually put up what I feel is best first so that one grabs the eye rather than having people think..."what? another view?!!" and skipping over it...

I'm looking forward to seeing #4
