Yo!! This is another drawing of one of my original characters-Marrisa! I've created her some years ago in fact it took me years to figure out how I wanted her to become. I was struggling to find what makes her, her. Her hair is what kicked my butt cuz I wanted her hair to feel inspirational same goes with her earring on her left ear and I do believe that one earring is what makes her, her!!! I have put a lot of heart and soul into this character and I cannot let go of this character!! I hope you enjoy!!!

It's always noticeable every time an artist put his art and soul on an art piece! This is definitely one of those cases. Your character looks gorgeous. I love how you have played with the colours and the pencil textures. Really like it

Dude you should color pencils are so much fun but time consuming lol honestly the color pencil packs are expensive but u get a whole lot of colors and buying them individually is pretty cheap u just need all sorts of colors!!

I love the colors and the shading! especially the reflection (or glow?) from the earring!

Thank you!! Yeah I was really experimenting with color especially with lights and shadows, also trying to understand reflective light as well. It does have a glow look cuz I over exaggerated the reflective color! Lol but I'm still not liking the skin tones I'm trying to work on that....

Personally, I would love to have a glowing earring, so I think it's awesome! lol. As for the skin, I think the tones are nice. The warm highlights and cool shadows give it a summer-y feel, like she's on a beach or something, but maybe that's just me! o.o anyway, the shading is great- you can definitely see that you have a grasp on the reflective light.
