Description Another pterosaur embodiment of the seven deadly sins, the Wrathful Murderface lives simply to kill anything it comes across, including others of its kind outside of breeding periods. This insistence to kill is so pronounced that they don't even eat unless starving (often from the corpses of things they already killed).

When they hatch, Caedisops flaplings immediately turn on each other, not out of hunger like the Gulopteryx, but for the sake of killing. Only three or fewer of them (out of a brood of ten) will survive this bloodbath. Any siblings that have also survived their first day will automatically become a Caedisops' mortal enemies and will risk life and limb to commit such siblicide.

The spikes on the head of a Caedisops, like most pterosaurs, function as sexual/dominance displays, though not directly. Instead, Caedisops display their strength by impaling other animals with these head spikes, even to the point that an individual may not be able to fly.

Also unlike the Gulopteryx, Caedisops do have a sex drive, though courtship often starts and ends with a bloody fight. Surprisingly (perhaps as a way to continue the species), the male is often not able to fight back against the female after copulation and may face his death this way.

Special mention to TheHistorianHimself as the patterns on the wings are based on one of the Earth Beasts.

This is made for 's #buildafakepterosaur challenge.

Why I gave the dromaeosaur a full "Archaeopteryx-like" tail.
