Young!Eros and Aphrodite from my original graphic novel, Pandora's Scar.
Being able to love with all the strength of one's being also means any hurt or betrayal cuts straight to the core.
And when you are the deity responsible for Love, everything just gets magnified exponentially.
...Or at least, that's the idea behind the way this mother and son duo are portrayed in the story- with a not-entirely- familial-love coupled with an edge of not-quite-innocent resentment. Family is a complicated thing in this pantheon.
