Out of curiosity, what animal did the bones come from and what particular bones are they?

i believe they are chicken bones, a few were gifts so i can't be positive. I am unsure of the specific kinds.

Did I also mention that I study and ( not for the time being but do plan to) practice Vodoun, and kemeticism?
The norse heathenry is a connection to my ancestors, and kemeticism is my connection to my heart and soul, and vodoun is my connection to the spirits. As a soft polytheist, I can easily syncretize the differences between these particular paths to make a unique and perfect path for me. But I do keep them separate, for example, I would not hail Isis in a Blot. XD just as I would not hail Odin in my senut ritual.
I am also interested in Wicca at the moment, so lots of interests being woven into the tapestry of my path.
Not to mention traditional craft. Which i use as more of a primordial shamanism and animism.On the side. XD I will soon be a very busy witch.

You have no clue how much I'm in love with your altar. I love how artsy it is. What type of bones are those? I haven't worked with bones yet because I haven't had the chance to get any, but I know it would be quite useful with my workings.

I actually plan on building an altar as a means of Artistic Expression, as I've collected quite a few things that would sync up quite nicely. The only things I need, while being rather overused, are a white candle and a black candle. I've plenty of skulls, statues, masks and other interesting items to form my desired altar. I had also thought of making an altar purely of food, after I saw a salt and pepper shaker and related it to the white and black candles I wanted.
I attribute you with the inspiration for such a thing, as it wasn't until I saw this that I had urge to do so.

OH! this is a very nice altar. Like the look of the two sigils on the middle front. Also interesting what things make it to your altar and it is interesting to try find some ideas for what wich thing comes there

nice. you ever try smoke it? I also play with the thought to carve a pipe. But the problem may be to find the materials in need.
just compare with your altar my one is really boring, but also there some important emotional and live connected things on your one that are missing on my one. Just have some fruits and some times a flower there so it only consist with the incense burning box and two candles on each side.

yes minimal setup can be nice too. But also it need to be used in some way. A one that have more things related just make automatic a kind of sanctum for the "law of similarity" so it "use" itself a bit in the way desired without the big need of doing ceremonies and put in visualisation power.
