Yes! YES! Someone else remembered that Luthien had to cut her hair short! As in close to her head!
Though doubtless it grew out long afterwards, to its original length.
I love the style of the pencil, parchment, and white ... is that pastel? Or white paint?

I think it says in the Lay of Leithian that her hair grew back at a normal rate after she cut it off? Personally I tend to picture her on the Quest with the short hair, but yes, I do think she probably grew it out afterwards.

It says that in the Silmarillion too, I believe. Yes, she would have had to have grown it out. I'm not very sure of this, but she could have been granted a new body when she returned to Middle-earth with Beren... maybe? Probably not, though.
