I love Rose's face, it's so full of life and happiness, and how you did her hair. I always love how it seems like your people are in motion, or just ... kind of like in a candid photograph, if that makes sense. Great job on the Doc's pinstripes, too! I imagine those were hard to do with just watercolor but you did a really great job!

Comment deluges are my favorite.
The original sketch here was loosely referenced from candid photo, so that makes lots of sense actually. 
I do the lighter pinstripes by mixing some acrylic medium into the light blue, painting the stripes first, and then painting the darker charcoal color over them. It's kind of the same idea as drawing designs on easter eggs with a wax crayon (and also how I usually do snow)? So it's actually not as meticulous as it might look.

I know it's about the two of them, but Rose is SO the point of focus in this. I just adore how you drew her smile and well... her hair, I believe we've more than covered the subject of Madame Piper's locks.

She is, and that wasn't really intentional, it just happened! To be honest, I think I did a better job with Rose than I did with Ten here, oops. But ah well, there's always next time? I've said it before and I'll say it again: Billie Piper looks uncannily like my older sister, especially from the nose up (and yes, I grew up with a massive complex about having such a gorgeous sister!).
