Unlimited Protector's story:

After they were in the Dragon Nest Arius learned from Desod, that the former queen was the one who started the project, but the Nasod King modified them with the regeneration power. However he never found the secret codes in there: The synthetic metamorphosis process. After hearing the description couldn't believe what he heard. The code's purpose was to fuse his demon powers and the nasod technology completely to create something entirely new. He would be able to use both at the same time, creating new powers. He tried to succeed with the process many times, so that he can use the new power that helps him to stay at the front lines. However no matter what he tried these two opposites kept on rejecting each other before the process was over, what led to some swearing from Desod and himself and the Nasod inside him suggested that it wasn't because his body was too weak, but that he wasn't resolved enough, or in other words the mind for it. After that he thought a lot about why he even wanted to do that in the first place: Yes, the group grew on him, but they would die off anyways, like everybody else he ever met. Maybe because of that mind set he never managed to get back to his prime, but that would change when they encounter the Nasod King and Eve, which awakens his lost memories, when he was unconscious. Being able to complete the metamorphosis process, he protected his friends with a powerful black lightning.

"That's right...it's his fault...he killed them...and I couldn't protect them or the queen...now it's happening again..." Under the falling debris Arius regained his awareness from his surroundings and thought he heard the message of god when he heard desod.
"Hey, brat...The process is over. Kick his ass!" The nasod king could swear he could hear a mumbling from where he punched his test subject, but turned around to the others, who were heavenly exhausted. Suddenly his danger sensors were going crazy and he could barely dodge with his upper body.
"Aisha, was that your black lightning?", Elsword asked, even though he knew that it wasn't her.
"No, I can't use such a spell!", Aisha was yelling, also not understanding what just saved them. Both sides now heard a heavy breathing and they looked to Arius, in his ripped up coat and looked really pissed. The Nasod king on the other hand was confused like the others. Just now he wasn't able to use something like that.
"What...are you?"
"I'm the last survivor of Unlimited, the royal guards of the former nasod queen! I'm Arius Emrys, the Unlimted Protector!"

Special Ability(Unlimited Protector):
-High regeneration power, tends to use pots though for minor wounds

-Black lighning: Through the synthetic metamorphosis, this is one of the new powers he gets. It deals both dark and lighning damage and is more powerful than when both of them are used seperated. It also doesn'T go on cooldown or makes him insane, but it does exhaust him more than before (what isn't bad because he got a lot of stamina)

-Demon-Nasod-Armor (Desod-Armor): The new armor is now more demonic than before: It now demonic mouth on the helmet screen, which moves like his real mouth. The armor now is black instead of white and has two horns and small claws at the hand. This armor raises all his stats, but he can only use it when two conditions are set: Resolve and time. It takes longer than before to use it, but when he has, it stays quite some time. However, when he finally gets out of the armor, all exhaustion that accumulated gets releases and often leads to a breakdown.

-Prediction: HIs prediction now is back to his prime, making it live up to his ability and one of the strongest people in the ancient war Nasod against humans.

Personality (Unlimited Protector): He now acts more according his age: He lends others his advice and his a lot more mature than before when its serious. On the other hand he is gives more sarcastic remarks like Desod and is emotional in general when he is relaxed.. He also likes to point out his age now. saying stuff like respecting him more or something. Arius takes up the role of the guardian of the team, getting sensitve when it's about them.
After the metamorphosis he doesn't treat Eve like a child anymore, but as his queen and as an adult. Because of that he realizes his feelings for her and wants to protect her the most, to also redeem his failure of protecting the queen before her. If he ever confesses however is another story.
With Raven and Rena they are the caretakes of the team and Arius gets along fine with them like they are his siblings, especially with Raven, since they had simliar pasts.
His relationship with Elsword at the beginning was quite stressing for the Immortal, since he was a brat. He still has a father/son in-law relationship with him, getting on each others nerves with using names like old man or brat, but Arius acknowledges his talent in battle, respecting him as a fighter and later Elsword is the one he can have the most fun with (pranks, joking, you name it).
To Aisha he feels a connection like he does with Raven and Eve: She is accused for being a monster only because she uses demon magic and made a contract. Because of that he know what she is going through and with their interactions they kinda get a father-daughter relationship.
Since he and Chung are at the front lines, protecting the others from damage, they get along quite nicely, but Arius always tries to make the prince less stiff.
Ara Haan is like a little puppy to him to take care of, since she is so clumsy, sometimes petting her because of that. On the other hand Arius dislikes Eun, for personal reasons.
His relation to Elesis is similiar to Elsword: They are getting on each others nerves easily, but he still respects her. He isn't sure if Elesis does the same or not.

Background Story:
In his younger days before his fatefull transformation into the man he was now, he and his friends were mercenaries, searching for adventures and new things. On these adventures they encoutered a powerful demon. In its death it gave them demon magic in the hope that they will someday destroy themselves with it. However they only used low level spells since they realized that the magic would make them insane. Because of the dark el their appeareance changed their color a bit. In Arius's case he got a few black strands on his hair.
In the times before the war in which Nasod fought against Humans to prevent them to keep misusing their powers, Arius and his old friends were siding with the nasod since they had the same convition as them, but they lost in the end when they tried to protect the nasod queen before Eve, which led to heavy injuries and her death.
Blaming him and his friends, the nasod king misused them for his experiments after years of custody of their half dead bodies, to make the perfect immortal puppet of the nasod race. Their purpose for the nasod were the research of the human brain and their behavior in several scenarios. The king also wanted to use them as a databank of Nasod history, so that they may rise again someday. However when he finally suceeded with Arius being the only one to survive the surgeries, everything went out of control: The demon magic inside of him cut of the connection to the nasod king and he was able to flee after a berserker rampage with his demon magic and his newly gained nasod technology. Nevertheless, he lost his memories about ever having comrades so he sees himself alone doing all the adventures he did in his life.
After these events he traveled through the world in loneliness and hatred for his fate, while experiencing several dozens of deaths. In that time period the nasod technology inside of him develops a personality and got mixed with the demon powers inside of him, what on the other hand didn't mean that he had greater power or hybrid abilities at that time. Because of that Arius calls him "Desod".
Arius meets the team while he was strolling in Ruben and witnessed the robbing of the El Crystal. Deciding to use them as an escort he accompanies them. Over the time they grew on him and he wanted to protect them no matter what...
