Immortal Guardian's story:

While everyone searched for their own path to get stronger, Arius was at a lost: No matter which one of his two options, demon and Nasod, they would destroy his self he is now. Because he couldn't decide he trained his martial arts and body to make more use of his given powers. Through that he remembered that he should be at the front, getting the attention of the enemy and take the hits and sidetracking those with his arms. However he didn't know for what or who he stood at the front to have this role. By these actions he got the name "Immortal Guardian", diverting danger from others and himself, while turning the damage against the enemy with his martial arts and observation skills.

"Man...any suggestions what I should choose? Becoming batshit insane or becoming more like an nasod? Whatever I choose, I won't be...me anymore, you know?" Sitting in the bedroom of the team, even though it was already noon, he had a heart to heart with Desod. He never felt so depressed since a long time. They almost died from this Nasod-fake and the worst thing was that they almost died because of it. If Arius just kept training like usual that wouldn't have happened. Nobody could be in a rustier state than him.
"Are you done with your whining? I have no idea what you should choose. Do that what you think is good for you. I can't think for you, you idiot." With those words Desod went silent again and Arius just sighted. Suddenly a touch on his shoulders startled him and he turned around instantly, where he bumped his head with somebody.
"Ouch...I guess I startled you?" The immortal one saw how Rena rubbed her head, but still smiled at him. She then sits next to Arius and made herself comfortable.
"Something on your mind?" The "old" man thought a bit about what to do next, but then decided to ask a question to help himself.
"Why are you sticking to your roots as an archer? I mean, Elsword and Aisha aren't doing that." For whatever reason she began to chuckle and replied jokingly:
"Well, I'm flattered that my elder is looking for advice from this young woman." He on the other hand wasn't really in the mood for it, what she could see, so she gave him her answer:
"I think...it's because I want to support them from the background, while they are fighting, searching for their own way of life. Compared to them, I'm also pretty old, so I feel...happy, when I can help them grow by staying back and let them get experience...You could say, that this is my role I decided on." All of a sudden a pain struck in his head and he whined a bit, what worried Rena. Arius then fell down into the black nothingness...
"What? You want to be the guardian of the team? Your just a little runt!" Who were they? He could count about nine shadowy figures and himself as a kid, maybe fourteen years old. But no matter how hard he tried to, he didn't got a better image. His younger self just puffed up his cheeks and pounded his fist on his chest:
"Hey, Im still bigger and older than - !", Older than what?! Come on, tell me!, "Besides, my style is perfect to get enemy attacks go into another direction, like into our tank here! So let me be the guardian! That's gonna be my role"" Before Arius could see more, the scene changed and he saw the same kid as before, using his fighting style, only more magnificient. Changing the course of the attacks of his opponent and using that power against them...being a guardian to prevent damage against others.
"That's right...that's how I fought in the past...Guardian...my role..."
"I wonder what he's dreaming about to mutter like that." Elsword scratched his head after he and Aisha came back and saw Arius lying on the bed. However Rena smiled, after she was over her little shock.
"Whatever it's about...He seems happy. Look at him." A small smile appeared on his face and the elf could tell, that this was the first honest one he made since the group met him.

Personality (Immortal Guardian):Pretty much the same as base class, but he is a bit more mature now and less relaxed, leading him to be a bit more emotional, but also more sensitive.

Background Story:
In his younger days before his fatefull transformation into the man he was now, he and his friends were mercenaries, searching for adventures and new things. On these adventures they encoutered a powerful demon. In its death it gave them demon magic in the hope that they will someday destroy themselves with it. However they only used low level spells since they realized that the magic would make them insane. Because of the dark el their appeareance changed their color a bit. In Arius's case he got a few black strands on his hair.
In the times before the war in which Nasod fought against Humans to prevent them to keep misusing their powers, Arius and his old friends were siding with the nasod since they had the same convition as them, but they lost in the end when they tried to protect the nasod queen before Eve, which led to heavy injuries and her death.
Blaming him and his friends, the nasod king misused them for his experiments after years of custody of their half dead bodies, to make the perfect immortal puppet of the nasod race. Their purpose for the nasod were the research of the human brain and their behavior in several scenarios. The king also wanted to use them as a databank of Nasod history, so that they may rise again someday. However when he finally suceeded with Arius being the only one to survive the surgeries, everything went out of control: The demon magic inside of him cut of the connection to the nasod king and he was able to flee after a berserker rampage with his demon magic and his newly gained nasod technology. Nevertheless, he lost his memories about ever having comrades so he sees himself alone doing all the adventures he did in his life.
After these events he traveled through the world in loneliness and hatred for his fate, while experiencing several dozens of deaths. In that time period the nasod technology inside of him develops a personality and got mixed with the demon powers inside of him, what on the other hand didn't mean that he had greater power or hybrid abilities at that time. Because of that Arius calls him "Desod".
Arius meets the team while he was strolling in Ruben and witnessed the robbing of the El Crystal. Deciding to use them as an escort he accompanies them. Over the time they grew on him and he wanted to protect them no matter what...
