She's entirely adorable beyond words, I love the front one's facial expression. The fairy in the back completes the picture in her own way, I absolutely adore the background. It's not too complicated, but not that simple either. It's an aesthetic asset to it all. Great work!

Upon reading your comments I have to say, I loved the deep mythological references you used as a framework for what was represented in the image.
It was an interesting read. Truly. Absolutely.
I'd reference them if I knew any. All I can think of are the Fey from Greek mythology, but those don't quite fit. Seductive trickster spirits of the wind, water, and whatever have you.

Thank you for giving me such a nice comment, but to be honest I don't think I was as deep as you thought about the picture. =S Flower fairies + bluebell shaped dress, that's all I did.

Heheh. Yeah, that sounds about right for me. It's just kinda the way I do it. A bizarre sense of humor which has been burgeoned by the Internet.
Seriously. I didn't watch TV too much, I'm not a big movie person, and though I liked my books, in reality, I don't read them nearly as often as I get my hands on them. For me, I grew up on the Internet.
You see some weird things. If you want, I could send you a huge note filled with dozens of numerous websites on them. Sometimes a bit adult, for the most part fairly child friendly. Except for Cyanide and Happiness. That one is just so incredibly dark. I love it.

-man turns from his chair to reveal he's legless-
"Yes."
-he turns back as the awkward silence kicks in-
"So, you got the stuff?"
"Yeah, you got the money?"
"Yeah..... there's no joke here, I'm a Meth addict."
"Did the doctor give you your test results?"
"Yeah. Looks like all those years of phone sex caught up with me. I have hearing AIDS."
Sorry about that. Continuing with what I was writing earlier, I'll link a couple for now.
First is Homestar Runner. When you first look at it, you think it's meant for kids, but it has decade old USA pop culture references, and surprisingly sophisticated humor at times.. mostly it's surprisingly nonsensical, but still, really child friendly, but adults are more likely to understand it: [link]
Second is Pictures For Sad Children. It's cynical, it's dark, and it's mostly harmless. I love this webcomic. I feel like I can completely empathize with all of the characters.
"Everything is awful, I am going to leave. Also, I found out I was not being paid. Tell work I died again."
Yet at the same time it can be strangely pleasant.
"I'm calling from capital about your student loans."
"Shit."
"I just wanted to thank you for paying them. I'm sure it's not always easy, but you are doing great, you should be proud of the life you've made for yourself."
Sorry about the longer description, I cannot emphasize enough how much I like this comic. I save every single one to my computer. I believe the author describes it best with: "It's about a bad feeling when you're feeling good, and a good feeling when you're feeling bad." or something along those lines. [link]
The last one is a story about two girls in a bizarre school in Britain. It's deep, dark, very original, and heralds inspirations from numerous mythologies, even includes characters from certain creation myths. I've enjoyed reading this one: [link]
