I’ve been debating getting something more “professional” (for the lack of a better term lol) for doing digital art, would you recommend an ipad over a different tablet? Sorry if this is weird, I’m just trying to figure some stuff out ;;”

honestly, no? It definitely feels different than say a wacom tablet so I would suggest trying it out first and then deciding if it your kind of thing
Imo ipad/Cintiq = Drawing tablet, just depends what you're more comfortable working with o/
csp costs money and I bought it on a black friday sale, but it does feel like it has more resources than other programs I tried out (including Sai, which I used for 8 years now?)

I’ve tried using ibisPaint and some other programs on my mum’s ipad and it’s not overly fantastic, so I feel like wacom is probably the way to go at this point lmao

Is it the ipad or ipad pro & apple pen? because there is a huge difference : O
but yeah! Normal tablets are great, idk if I'd recommend wacom though they're good but they only last like two years even with my best and most careful treatment..
