"Pick your poison."

Allie sat down casually for the first in in the Rattle's Rest. The barkeep's warm, colloquial tone didn't keep Allie from staying just a little bit reserved. She was aware that, despite his friendly demeanor, the sap this wyngro served was the cause of many regrettable actions, the creation of many unwanted families, and ultimately many unwanted wynglings. Her time in the Nook taught her about the sad potential of sap - leading her to distrust the wyngro who served it.

"I'll have your lightest sap, please," Allie said politely.

"Sure thing," He responded.

She waited quietly as Ash reached under the counter to pull out a dark bottle of something she didn't recognize. He poured it slowly and deftly into a small glass and pushed it towards her.

Suddenly, Allie found she couldn't contain herself. "Do you ever feel responsible for all the unwanted children in the Nook?" She blurted out.

Ash looked up at her in surprise.

My drawing for this Inktide prompt was a lil vague, so I decided to explain it a little via storytelling \ovo/ I think it speaks for itself here - especially that sappy couple hanging out in the back XD

Artistically, the perspective ended up a little wonky again o_o The couple on the left are on some raised flooring because I drew the pair next to them too small and closer in the foreground. whoooppppssssss
Hopefully I've covered my tracks well enough XD

All the weirdos behind Allie and Ash are random gro's I came up with on the spot \ewe/
