this is a great shot. the trees in the foreground totally look three dimensional and the branches actually look like cracks in the emulsion. is this a scan of the negative?

yes, the film i used is p/n, so i use the print as a "proof" and scanned in the neg. This shot was actually taken earlier in the year and the coldness soloarized the crystals on the negative (which explains why the frontal trees are almost white, while the background of the image still remained normal--i think that explains it, but clearly i'm not sure!)
