I am famillar with the abstract poneer Barnett Newman and I am aware of the resemblance to his works.
What does the c.f. stand for?

It should have been "cf.", abbreviated latin for confer, which means "compare." This is one of those things I didn't bother to look up myself until this year. Sorry if the comment was useless. I thought it might be relevant for observers to mention BN in the context of your drip image for comparison or if you wanted to expand on this image you could compare with BN's work for working ideas, etc.

Encore une fois le constraste colle parfaitement, elle pourrait rejoindre ton oeuvre "forte", tu pourrais même avec....Une chose que j'apprécie beaucoup dans cette photo est le centre de l'image, la texture du mur en bleu et la goutte orangé passant coté me fait penser à du négatif photographique. Une chose que j'aime moins par contre, ce sont les bords blancs autour de ta photo, je trouve qu'elle n'en a absolument pas besoin, mais c'est mon avis personnel.

didn't we see a similar shot in past. This is stunning in it's simplicity and this amazing colors. The light and sharpness works very well here too. I'm deeply impressed by this wonderful abstract piece.
