Rhombodera stalli shield mantis female and male,shot and stack took during one of our mating sessions. She in front is Skittles and he is Jetson,who I didn't raise but received as an adult.Its looking really purple and pink on here as opposed to grey so ill fix the BG and colors later see if I can tone that down some

That is awesome,mantids vary in color a lot even per one species,some get better coloration than others,and some males/females of a species get better coloration as well it seems,just luck I guess

The males are usually really hesitant,in nature they face being eaten at a higher percentage after or during mating,but I have yet to lose a male during breeding knock on wood,and as you can see she is always filled to perfection before I let them near each other
