My macro gear is falling apart, but I shot her with my sigma 105 with the baby extension tube think its a 12,and this really great macro converter filter by Raynox

Really? I've been trying to find a cheaper way of getting good quality macro shots without the expense of a macro lens. I use a Sony Alpha, and one of my lenses is in repairs haha.

Idk what will fit your sony, but check out extension tubes, and or search for Raynox 250 filter, that one clamps onto most lenses,so that may be a good option,if you do get a lens, don't go for one of the smaller ones like the 50 or so,try and find atleast a 90+,they just do soo much better

Haha I looked into it and found some stuff that'll fit. It looks like a pretty spiffy alternative to an expensive macro, despite the quality difference. Thanks for the tips
