I think this is a really good self portrait, it's not a easy task to depict yourself. It's really quite Impressive.

Nice cross hatch technique..............it aint easy being true to yer self in portraiture. I found that you never see yer self as others do. Even if I take a selfie, 9 out of ten gets deleted.

Hah "cross hatch technique", that's pretty generous. More like 'trying to force the last little bit of ink out of my dying Copic and being too lazy to fix it later'. But thanks.
And yeah, I'm never totally sure how I look to other people, I guess kind of similar to how I'm never sure what my voice sounds like, and when I hear it played back on a recording or something, I almost don't even recognize it.
I feel like I was able to capture something really accurate about myself in this drawing though, moreso than in any other self-portrait I've ever done. So I'm pretty happy with it for that reason, even though I'm not crazy about it on an aesthetic level.
