Aww this piece is so sweet! I think that light blue in the back really softens the mood. The cartooning of the creature's facial features is very interesting, your creature design is something you should definitely keep developing on

Ooh, if it helps, pull from artists who do similar things! I think the shapes you got going on his snout look similar to the works of Nico Marlet. Check out how he thickens and tapers certain proportions of his designs, I think you'd get a lot out of it
