Okay, now you may or may not have noticed that dragons familiarity. And if you have then I'm happy!
This dragon's name is Sidius, he's Iver's father, or at least... was.
Sidius was a wretched and vile dragon. He murdered innocence and pillaged villages for simply existing. He took pride and joy in maiming and murdering.
Iver and Lazerus were his prized possessions! He brought them up believing that humans were a plague, and that they must be wiped from existence. Lazerus looked up to his father with envy, but Iver saw not a hero, but a coward. Iver left his family to far away lands, not daring to see them again. Not long after Iver's departure, Sidius and Lazerus set out to destroy a village they'd been watching for a month. In this village lived a man and his wife with a son on the way. He was tall with black hair and bright blue eyes. His name was Vladius. A trained Knight and former Rider. He had settled there years ago for retirement with his family. But that was ruined quite abruptly when Sidius and Lazerus attacked the village.

It was a slaughter. Children, elderly, men, women. All dead. Except for one. Vladius was the last man standing, and with his sword in hand he attacked the mighty beast, Sidius, and took the dragons life, and though the battle was long and difficult, Vladius found victory.

So yeah, there's a bit of story there for ya :3
