Last week I finished watching "Akatsuki no Yona" and loved it :3 >.< I'd love to get to know the rest of the story, but rather than reading manga I feel like waiting for the second season >_< Here are Yona, Hak and Yun *^^*About the painting itself, the only thing I'm really satisfied with is the background. Drawing Hak was horrible XD I feel that I've done something strange with this characters. But shhhh...

Sadly I'm not sure if we'll be getting a second season at all
which is awful because this show is so good! I highly recommend the manga.

Your painting is very nicely done.
Beautiful job on the sky and landscape. I like how the colors are layered and blended and
are still bold and not muddy. And I love the back-lit highlights on the characters.
And the craggy parts of the rocks have a very chinese ink-painting feel which blends well
with the fantasy setting.
Don't feel bad about Hak. He looks great. But I agree he's a difficult subject to capture because
he's just so sexy!!! I have a hard time drawing his face just right too. But they all look great really!
I'm almost expecting to see a red glow coming from Yona's eyes (you know what scene I'm talking about XD)
And their poses and expressions are spot on.
I think this is a wonderful illustration! Especially since it's made with traditional media!
May I ask, did you use acrylics or watercolors?

Now as I've used a bit to Hak, I have more problems with his hair XD In general Kusanagi Mizuho-sensei draws so sophisticated hairstyles that I feel hopeless at drawing them xd Shoujo style is quite difficult to copy

when it comes to the shojo style. The way she draws hair and eyes
is breathtaking! I love her work so much! And I'm glad to have found
another Yona fan! XD
