Cuba existed before Communism and will exist after Communism. The Confederacy existed solely for the purpose of protecting and expanding the institution of slavery.

Sure, because that flag doesn't represent Cuban Communism or anything. Come back when you have a real argument instead of a fallacy and a lie.

My flag doesn't represent communism our flag was designed way before communism was even established in cuba

PeteSeeger In reply to OddGarfield [2018-06-07 13:07:22 +0000 UTC]

It's not a fallacy or a lie you pissant. It was designed when Cuba was still under Spanish rule, as a symbol of freedom and unity. So, the precise opposite of everything the Stars and Bars do.

It's not communist flag of Cuba. It's just flag of Cuba. It was used long before Castro. Whereas confederate flag isΒ associated with particular regime.

OddGarfield In reply to luftmausmann [2018-04-25 16:13:02 +0000 UTC]

The Confederacy, a regime? Ha! You obviously didn't get the gesture of using their logic against them. Though the flags of the Confederacy did come about when the Confederacy was founded, they represented the broader cultural identity of Dixie and still do today.

cuba is a nation you dumbass that still exists, confederates is a hate flag, that stood for slavery / nothing to do with fucking heritage

πŸ‘: 2 ⏩: 1

OddGarfield In reply to TheArabicArtist [2018-04-03 01:32:08 +0000 UTC]

Cuba is a Country, just to clarify, the Cuban Nation is spread far beyond Cuba itself, but that's a different topic. If you're going to pull the slavery argument then the United States represents slavery too as well as Cuba, Spain, the UK, France, etc, etc. Heritage exists despite some dirty history, you need to accept that and stop trying to cover up everything that offends your delicate, weak little heart.

You obviously want to get rid of the representation of the Confederacy.

yes, honestly don't why southerner are so stubborn and stupid, give it up, the south isn't a nation anymore, yet you still practice hate and believe that the south is a nation otherwise called "heritage" what the fuck are you thinking / patriots are racists

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

OddGarfield In reply to TheArabicArtist [2018-04-03 02:46:17 +0000 UTC]

You fail to understand that the term Nation doesn't necessarily equate to a Country, the Southern people make up the Confederate Nation whether it's occupied or not. If the Confederacy represents "racism" then it wouldn't have worked towards given its States the option to keep or abolish slavery, if the Confederacy represented racism then it wouldn't have allowed Black, Hispanic and Asian troops to partake in its defense from the invasion put forward by the Union; if the Confederacy represented racism then it wouldn't have tried to have an alliance with the Republic of Mexico...

I can't stand the grammatical mistakes in the first panel, but I think the hypocrisy of the leftists who stated her patch has to do with heritage yet condemn the confederate flag.

Left wants to destroy Confederate monuments because they are symbol of slavery, but don't want to destroy Auschwitz which is symbol of genocide.

OddGarfield In reply to RJDETONADOR97 [2018-03-30 23:04:04 +0000 UTC]

Confederate monuments aren't symbols of slavery, first of all, secondly, Auschwitz still stands today as a clear reminder of the genocide that occurred there.
