Well Β this super hero's character design makes me think of The Flash mixed with Spiderman a little bit.

Spider man and Daredevil have a very similar origin - early 1960's Stan Lee creations with help from different artists.... Spider man came first in 62, but it wasn't long before Daredevil came to be in 64....Β Flash on the other hand was a very early superhero.... 1940...

The very first Comic book I ever owned was Daredevil - 189 - December 1982 - Written by Frank Miller and the cover by Frank Miller.
I had gotten my hands on a few books before and read them at friends houses, but never owned one myself.
I remember the event quite clearly, I was in the mall with my family, and they were all looking at something and I saw a kiosk near by full of comics... and they began to call to me...
The colors, their beauty, the alien tales that I knew were inside them... I was drawn to them, like a moth to a flame... I just looked at them for a undetermined amount of time, just staring at the covers.
Eventually my mom came over and touched me on my shoulder, drawing my attention away from them... I don't remember the conversation, but somehow I ended up getting permission to get one of them and out of all the selections available, this is the one I chose, based on nothing more than the cover art...
I find it even more strange that my parents allowed me to get that particular title, seeing as how they were very religious and superstitious, and the title was called DAREDEVIL, and the Hero's costume took on the visage of a "Devil"...
What a lucky pick... Frank Millers revitalization of the DAREDEVIL title was in full swing [Issues 158-191], and it is still recognized as one of the greatest comic runs of all times... and I have loved the Comic and Hero ever since.
