What is the problem people have with Monsanto? I never even heard of them until the skeptic/science pages I follow on facebook began covering the conspiratorial lunatics who hate GMOs for no reason.

My dislike for them is more attached to thei, imo, insane legal assaults on small farmers... corporate greed... on a huge scale dicks...

And one of the things they do is use their genetically modified crops to help terrorize small farmers... claiming the rights to crops that have their markers... using corporate big money to tie up small farmers in court, and in some cases winning, the right to crops that they did not plant or use resources to grow, just bc Monsanto has a field near by, that contaminated the small farmers crops...
Frankly, it's like a sick man, winning a civil suit against a person that they infected... because they own the disease... it's insane...
And yes... the gmo scare is, at least as far as we know to date, unfounded... but I do think people have a right to know, and not have the facts hidden from them... no different than any other labeling laws...

We in the EU are struggling, and all our governments' leaders - especially Mr Cameron and Frau Merkel -Β are in the arse of multinational corporations and a certain president from over the pond.
At least Hungary burned all the GMO fields, all regions of Croatia declared themselves GMO-free, and France banned Bt Maize (corn). So there's a bit of hope.
May all the GMO Big Corporations and their thralls get what they deserve: To feel the wrath of the people!

Really nicely done. i've been looking into doing something on monsanto as well. Gas masks and moneyed people seems like the main images floating around for those ideas. Coincidentally looked up Monsanto images on Deviantsearch whilst listening to iggy's album 'the idiot' and i saw your iggy piece too. Like the look of your work - good stuffs

EU just gave permission for Monsanto to sell mutated CORN over here.
Which means that, EU does NOT support genetically mutilated humans.
EU does just support to not have known anything about genetically mutilated humans, caused by feeding on animals, fed by mutated corn.

Well there wasn't anything deeply incriminating. We were just out in the fields putting little bags over corn tassles to help collect their pollenation to breed the corn.

Hmmm, don't quite remember actually. It was back in 2007, but I think it was pretty short and simple. This was minimum wage manual labor type stuff.
