Took a leaf out of KSM's book and did some textures over the final piece, just to give it a diff look. Looks okay.This is my character Erin. I changed up her story a little. I decided to make her a lot older than originally, like a few hundred years. She was kept in a monastery and protected/raised by monks. They regarded her as an angel, so they kept her there for awhile to keep her safe from the evil's of the world.
She never physically aged past 13 years, btw. Dunno why, just one of them things.
Eventually, she left and went traveling, keeping herself from the direct public, but being an Empath, she'd been able to help others along the way.
Eventually she met Nic and decided to help him in his pursuit to rescue other mutants. So, that's how she got mixed up with all that. She's the compounds 'counselor' but since she couldn't have gotten a degree for it, it makes more sense that it's from her abilities plus life experience.
I like the idea.
And the idea came to me just one night. I didn't take it from any other persons idea, but I'm sure it's not completely original.

Honestly, I am not a fan of the textured look xD I don't know. I always loved the smooth blended look in your artwork. However! Kudos for pulling it off. It defenately sets the mood.

There's a very Impressionism Era look in the background - like Monet's Water Lillies. Incredibly admirable.

I don't know how I feel about the textured look either. I did some smoothing on her fur, but not on her clothes and did the texture. I'm only so-so with it.
Yeah, she was one of Tinello's last pups. I have a lot of chars from his many litters. xDD;;

I love how innocent and peaceful she looks. I also love how you made her a little off white, it softens the whole image and makes her markings blend in really nicely. I also love the textured effect, it turned out extremely well without being overdone.
