Okay, so, for those few of you I haven't told about this yet, this is an AU I dreamed the other night, that involves the Jedi being wiped out years before it actually happens in canon, and this version of Qui-Gon-- the most wanted person in the galaxy-- meeting up with this version of Obi-Wan...who I meant to draw dirtier, but forgot to add that
.There's a bunch more to it, but telling you the whole story would ruin the fic I'm going to write (no, really, I WILL write this one. I swear! Put down those pitchforks.)
Anyway, so, here we have Qui and Obi, sitting on a bench. Chillin'.
I have a new respect for those that drew Pacha in "The Emperor's New Groove", because those ponchos are NOT as easy to draw as one would expect. Seriously.
I love Obi-Wan's outfit, it's all shiny and stuff

Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are technically property of George Lucas. I'm just...re-imagining them.

It's a practice thing. I'm just now starting to try it myself. I blame Sims. It made me aware of people's noses.

Ooooh! this sounds like an interesting idea! I love your version of these guys. Also nice contrast with Obi and Qui-Gon's clothes. *shakes fist at ponchos* You did a really great job though! And the detail on Obi's outfit, especially the goggles is really nice! I love the expressions and you did a great job with the poses and shading. Though for some reason Qui-Gons curled up fist looks kind of weird to me. Like the thumb isn't attached quite right and it's a bit small...but still. Great picture!
