Description That's right, "Gorey" not "Gory." Gorey as in Edward Gorey...an AMAZING artist who has influenced much of my ink work. Look him up, seriously very amusing. Took the classic pose from the original Universal film of POTO and incorporated these two.

Love it! I think recognize this scene from the silent movie with Lon Chaney Sr, but you've drawn it with... Butler? He kind of looks like he might be dancing or rapping though, since we can't really see his expression.

What a beautiful piece of art. Your cross-hatching and shading skills are mind-blowing. I wish I was this good!

Edward Gorey is one of my favorite artists. I love his art, so dark, so delicate and filled with melancholy. This is such a lovely mixture. =]

I absolutely HATE "Phantom of the Opera" to the ends of the Earth, but I absolutely LOVE Edward Gorey to the ends of the Earth. Great picture, though!
