A bit of a phrase I thought about when I first came up with Donni.

I always wanted a chibi version of at least one of my girls. There's a bit of a story behind this concept. While I was staying in West Virginia, I was preparing for a yoga session for friends, and I wanted to practice before teaching the lesson. I, then, got up and left my practice rug while I was waiting for my friends to wake up to get started. When I returned with the others to get started, we spotted a butterfly sitting at the center of my rug. It was fluttering its wings very slowly; sitting there as if it was meditating for a few minutes before it flew away. We all agreed that it was rather symbolic. It was one of the most memorable moments during the trip.

Lucy did an amazing job with this one. Donni looks just so cute and sweet with her big, wide eyes and adorable smile. I love the movement on her hair and the yellow dress. Of course, her butterfly wings are definitely the highlight of this piece.
