somehow I want to get this out of my head ...if you like it tell me and I'll consider to draw the whole story.
but for now it'll just be the prologue since most of my followers are inactive or not interessted.
my mood isn't the best loday.
This comic is about how my gemsonas Amber and Axinite met.
The story begins on a crystallized planet where Axinite and Emerald caught the fleeing ambers.

Actually I had to think of her mom a lot while drawing her.
I think it's because of her sun glaces. I wanted to design a hippy-gem. XD

I can most definitely see the hippy-ness in her, and I admit the glasses were the main reason why she looked like Connie. I also kind of say that because of her color scheme and her hair color. I dunno, I would assume that she would be more reddish than brown, and why the brown skin and black hair. (I have the same issue with garnet) Gems don't really have a race, I just don't see why she would be portrayed as black. After all, she is an axinite. Not that this isn't a nice drawing. I really love it. You have nice attention to detail and body positioning, skills of which I'm sorely lacking. Good Job!

I thought about this skin color thing in SU too, but I didn't think it's an issue to give her brownish skin.
When I drew garnet the first time and used the colors from the original site, I saw that she is violet. Her hair is violet too.
If you use Rubys and Sapphire's skincolor and multilpy it by 50% in photoshop or sai
you'll get simular color to garnets skin.
I did the same with Axinite. I took the colors from a photo of her gem .
And for her glaces, there's a reason she's wearing them. ;D

(!!!!!) Garnet's VIOLET?? I had no idea! I mean, I knew that garnets were very purplish in real life, hence the reason why I was kind of upset with the crew's design choice, not to mention the fact that she's made from red and blue, so you'd think she'd be a little more purple. I don't use Photoshop at all, so I wouldn't know about the whole color mash up thing. Anyways, thanks for the lovely little chat. You have officially become the first deviant that I have ever watched. Looking forward to more art
