I'm cold and I am shamed
Bound and broken on the floor
I surprised myself by finishing this one in only 4 days. By my standards, that's super fast! (My last piece took 5 weeks O_O;; )
Erik is lying on his Persian rug being melodramatic as usual. (The rug is actually one I own). I just realized that the Mozart piece I chose as DJT was arranged for guitar/violin. I should've chosen one for organ or something. My bad. Anyway, Erik's a plagiarist because I can't be bothered composing a soul-sucking, magnificent piece of music. (Nor would I know how, tbh)
This was done in Manga Studio and Photoshop. Hope you like it

I am not ashamed to say I cried. I love how lifelike this came out and the whole thing is so emotional. I'm about at chapter 11 or 12 out of 26 in the book and the chandelier fell and I yelled lyrics to chandalier by Sia

Another great job. I love how you made his expression, I can even feel his pain, so touching. By the way, the tone of the colors you chose remarks the emotion in here, it's like you see the end is close (oh yeah, I think I'm starting to be like an art teacher plz XD) Love this one.

Well, that's fine that you like it, because I think that your art deserves something more than ''It's beautifull or I like it'' As a talented artist, I recognize great talent when I see it, and you, my friend, are very talented! (to be honest, the majority of my best works are not in dA because they are...you know... personal things...comics...a lot of them XD including 2004 phantom ones.) But my new project (which will begin when I finish the exams) it's about 23 drawings of kays novel(I have told you before XD) and you inspire me, so that's the reason why I try to see more than a simple drawing in your creations.

The problem is that the program I use is too old (Adobe Photoshop 6.0) And it's ok to make the characters but very hard to draw the background. How did you do the bakcground of the Nadir and Erik scene?

Yeah, backgrounds are annoying. I used Manga Studio 5 to do the background in that drawing. It's a really good drawing program. I like it a lot.

Thanks so much! Yeah, Manga Studio is a pretty awesome program. I really like painting with it. Photoshop is good for adjusting colors and doing lighting effects and whatnot.
