i got 3 dogs from that kindbut that dog is not mine...
i just took the picture
it called chow chow and i think there are places in the world where dogs from that kind are being eaten

What a gorgeous majestic animal and you've captured this one's image remarkably! I have a chow of my own and with them being the kind loving creatures they are I don't understand why people kill them for such horrid reasons.

yeah, I've heard that before and I really resent the fact that an animal could be named after a slang for food. 
Of course at the time they were named 'Chow' was also slang for miscelaneous cargo which were hauled aboard ships, and so the chow was given this name due to the fact that to people at the time figured they were miscelaneous cargo.

When my Chow was around, she was very kind, gentle and lazy!
chow's are completely harmless, unless raised otherwise.
but, that goes for all animals.
