thank you! yes, unfortunately the original zodiac was done in sharpie, but the owners keep it away form light so it's doing ok. all acid free and high quality now!

Very cool! It sort of reminds me of a really bright quilt -- my favorite parts are the monkey and the water jug in the corner. I like how you put in the Chinese characters, too. A few of them look a bit funny to me, though.

Well I think those tiles worked out pretty well. I think the animals with the most details (like the feathers on the rooster and the scales on the dragon) are the better looking ones on this piece of art. In comparison the dog seems somewhat different from the other animals. I guess more and smaller detail on him would make him fit in more. Nonetheless a pretty nice piece of work.

This is wonderful! Each individual diamond is a beautiful work unto itself, and the whole makes a feast of many courses. I love your sense of composition, and your juxtaposition of textures.
