haha, not years. this one took about two weeks? i did it during a blizzard that happened for three days which is where i did the majority of it. the piece that took the longest of these is the zodiac. 8 months. blah. gracias!

I sat here for five minutes telling my sister how absolutely instense this piece is. I can't even fathom the amount of time and effort that was put into this picture. The detail is just stunning. I love the folk-artish feel to it as well. Great use of colours too! Just an all round wonderful piece!
