Description Lastly, and most certainly not leastly, the major and primary brawler of the group, the one to jump in horns first and ask later or never depending on the situation

Spike, if he resembles a Triceraton, it's a coincidence, that's just how i draw triceratops characters, where i never used to in the past. also that's the only other comparison i can make to TMNT is Spike is kind of a proxy to the Triceratons in terms of character and design, though this more applies to his original self from street sharks.  I'll get into that below

--

Spike, as though it weren't already obvious, is a triceratops, and is the primary fighter of the group, and yes, i'm aware he's compared to raph and the triceratons often, i'll get to that in a bit

And yes, like raph he is a bit of a hothead, however unlike raph, he's quick to calm and shift his priorities when the situation demands it, where raph is more prone to keep going after the target of his anger until he feels satisfied that it's done, even at the cost of his bro's safety and the mission they're on

no one start debating me about this, you know it happens, yes Raph gets better with his temper, but i'm talking about early raph outside of the Mirage comics where he's still learning to prioritize and control his anger, or when he prefers not to control it much to Splinter's shagrin.

Anyway, UNLIKE RAPH, Spike shifts his priorities when they're needed elsewhere, though he'd prefer to finish the fight that's started, the second his teammates or any innocents are in danger, fighting and pounding on the raptors is shifted to 'next time' and rescuing and safety is the priority

---

we don't see much of it in the series, but his toy info does mention that he's also a martial artist, again, we don't see it much in the show, i can only assume it was to further separate from the comparison of the turtles, but i'mma adopt this cuz martial arts was a thing in the world well before TMNT became a franchise phenomenon

nothing fancy like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan or Jet Li, simple power moves, power throws as well as power blocking, yes there's such a thing, i used to practice MMA and learned of this in my time as an MMA fighter.  never competed, just did it to keep in shape.

Anyway, i always liked this thought that Spike could fight with some amount of skill, not to say the rest of his friends are unskilled, they each are specialized in something specific as I mentioned earlier on T-Bone's profile, just it so happens that Spike here specialized in Fighting, Combat and brawling overall, whether he brute-forces his battles to a fast end or goes into a full knock-down-drag-out fight usually depends on his mood, if he wants to have fun, or if there's a mission priority

There you have it~!! These are the extreme Dinosaurs.  One thing i should mention, they came about AFTER another show often compared to the TMNT, the Street Sharks, The Shark bros came before the Dinos, and I'll be dropping some info on that when i finish their drawings

Yes, I'm working on the Street Sharks next.  Still wondering if i should do the bad guys in both shows though, the raptors, Seaviates, Dr. PAradigm and all, heck, i'm also wondering if i Should render my own version of Dr, Bolton, the Street Sharks' dad since we don't officially see what he looks like following his Gene-slamming, other than a shadowed figure cast on a wall and Slime left where he .......walks/slithers/whatever(?)
