Will move to scraps soon.Soooo the last few weeks this is what i have been working on like 2-3 hours a day if its not raining :/ I have never made anything like this before but i wont have time in the fall due to school to make my costume for Halloween so might as well do it while i have nothing else to do!!!

I have spent a lot of money on stuff for it but its allllllll worth it XD I might sell it after a while XD if anyone actually wants it XD
The first picture was layed out a week or two ago so the handles and nose are not the same. I still need a small plastic ring for the tip and need to cut out the rest of the scope stuff. Also these pictures make it look REALLY white but trust me there like tan XD I got lots of gluing and stuff still but should be done this week

In the first picture, what's that silvery piece attached to the plastic bat? I'm going to be making one of these, albiet a little differently, but I like the shape of that thing.

Sweet, thanks! This is really helpful (more than you'd know lol)... I'm taking on building all the different costumes and attempting to build some of the weapons. Which means I have to spend as little as humanly possible on them while still making them quality lol. I have this started with a piece of free cardboard tube from work XD

This one is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter, so it's a fairly nice size. Might have to buy some PVC or something of the 4 inch variety for the metal panel, unless I can find something big and cheap enough before that.
I think that with this project, before I begin to actually build it, I'm going to get all the parts first. See if it's any easier that way lol.

How'd the funnel work out for you?
Everything else I can probably find stuff for from around the house (or the hardware store apparently lol!), but I don't think I can make a cone like that... not at the level my skills are at right now, anyway! XD

lol luckily my father had a big old 8'' galvanized oil funnel in his basement, then i got this foam circle from michaels, cut a hole in it and slipped it over it to make that extra ledge the launcher had. I'm gonna warn you it is HARD to find a large funnel, if you cant find one and still want to buy that shape, try getting a traffic cone and cutting part of the top and bottom off,another suggestion a friend made was using one of those cones for dogs or a plastic lamp shade? XD i had soooo much trouble so had lots of options XD

Yeah, I kinda thought that a funnel of that size would be rather difficult to find. I'll be raiding the cooking sections of stores, as well as automotive. Maybe I'll get lucky XD.
Lamp shade is a good idea, though I don't think I'll roll that way. I want it to be fairly sturdy, as that's the end it'll be resting on... don't want it to collapse randomly lol!
And of course I saw the finished product! It looks pretty dern good, if you ask me!

lol its really tough, im sure older family owned hardwares would have it, cause i know lowes and homedepot dont sell them that big, as for lamp shade that why i suggested a plastic one XD
