I LOVED Portal 2. It was AMAZING and fun and had many more lovable characters like Wheatley. After i played for like 5 mins with the little guy I HAD to draw him, unfortunately he was a robot and I hate drawing them so I made a human rendition. Normally I really don't like these sort of things but I couldn't resist. Basically I sort of imagined him as a slightly dumpy janitorial guy and took his robot design [link] and his voice actor Stephen Merchant [link] and smashed em together. I originally wanted him to have reddish hair but he ended up looking like Alton Brown and i had to change that... So yeah enjoy!

Nice piece! I really like the lines and colouring; both are very smooth and professional in nature.
I was interested to read that Steven Merchant does some voice-acting in Portal 2; i'll be interested in experiencing that. Probably not for a while, though - i haven't even finished the first one!

And I didn't know who he was and looked him up and was baffled cause his voice didn't fit with what he looked like but then i watched something with him in it and was like "Huh, it totally works..." And comeon! the first one you can beat in an hour and a half! and this one took like 4? it was really fun and challenging.

No problem! I've just been to your site and checked out some more of your work; you're clearly an outstandingly talented artist. I particularly enjoyed your guide to female Team Fortress 2 characters; i've probably played the game less than five times in my entire life, but there's so much common sense there, and the illustrations are hilarious!
As for Stephen Merchant, the only American programme i know of that he's in is The Ricky Gervais Show, but here in the UK he's quite a prominent talent. I'm guessing that being in Portal 2 won't harm his career, though.
And Portal. Well, to be honest i'm a bit of a lightweight when it comes to FPS games - combine that with actually having to think, and i sort of lose it a bit. Plus, it may be just me, but there's something about the portal system that creeps me out; for instance, i get the jibblies from the idea of setting up a portal so that you can jump in and just keep on falling.
